Concept, Architecture, and Design of a noncontinuous oxygen concentrator that could deliver concentrated oxygen on command from a
pocketable vape-like device.
Researched the process of oxygen concentration, tested a proof of concept, and developed a hazardous material protocol that was used
throughout testing.
Documented the experiments and successfully pitched the project to the school patent office.
Collaborated with the school’s patent lawyers to file for a provisional patent: ID # STU-FY19-066 and published the team’s findings in
an accredited academic journal for biomedical engineering.
Led and managed an interdisciplinary team consisting of three engineering students which collaborated with two mentors.
